Today

Today was a beautiful day.

I started my CNA course Monday. Today was the first quiz (I made a 90-that class is 6 hours long!)

I posted up a pic of me on FB with my red pants! (I wore that outfit this past Saturday-thought I was "crute"!) I want to take a pic of me in the outfit I have on today. Might ask one of my sisters to take the pic :)

Came to the library trying to post pics on this blog, but to no avail. Must use Picasa or some other photo-reducing software (rats...)

I want to be a fashion consultant :)

Grandma's Biscuits

When I was growing up, my grandmother (probably like all grandmas) made homemade biscuits, emphasis on homemade). This is a picture of the flour she used to make her famous, buttery, brown-on-the-top morsels of delight. I made biscuits on Monday night using the store brand flout at home. I decided to buy some of that "Grandma" flour to see if my biscuits will look just like I remember hers looking (by the way, the biscuits I made Monday night were light and fluffy...the best I ever remember making!) Well, I am trying to upload the picture, seems as if it doesn't want to...Ok, so instead of the picture I took last night,, I had to jack this one from Google. :)

Today...

Today starts my new blog page. I have two others that are mostly about the spiritual issues I've faced in life. I wanted to do a different one, a more light-hearted one if you will, one where I could post recipes, pictures I've taken, etc. I feel that I am beginning a new chapter. And it has already started, but I'm officially blogging about. Today.
